Activating Rockwell Software

Check software activation

  1. Click on the search bar/start menu
  2. Start typing Activation to search for the FactoryTalk Activation Manager
  3. Open the activation Manager
  4. Click on the Manage Activations tab
  5. Ensure that both the local and remote server paths are present:

Add an activation Path

  1. With only 1 path present, to add the other path click on Update Activation Search Path on the top right
  2. Select the server that is loaded. This should happen automatically and point to the latest server. Contact IT Support if you need the latest address
  3. Once checked, click on save
  4. Click on Refresh Activations
  5. Close the software
