OPC Configuration - UA Config Tool

  1. Search for OPC UA Configuration and run as Administrator
  2. Accept the UAC if required or enter an administrator username and password
  3. For each of the endpoints click on the endpoint and select Edit
  4. Select None (Insecure) as an allowed endpoint
  5. Add new endpoints as required IFF not connecting from the local host
  6. Select Instance Certificates
  7. Check that the Certificates has been generated within the last 12 months. If not, click on Reissue Certificate for all certificates older than 12 months.
  8. Click on Close

OPC Integration - KepServerEX

  1. Ensure that all running systems that are connected to the KepServerEx instance is in a standby state.
  2. Launch the KepServerEX Configuration Tool
  3. Under the Project right click and select Properties
  4. Select OPC UA from the Property Groups
  5. Enable the Server Interface
  6. Allow Anonymous Login
  7. Click on Apply and OK
  8. Open the KepServerEX Config menu from the Task Tray
  9. Click on Reinitialize. This will take a minute to reset the KepServer instance and ALL connections will be lost.
