Enterprise:

For Enterprise, a license is required. This license can be obtained from the Azure Portal for your personal devices.
  1. Download the Enterprise Installer: Visual Studio 2022 Enterprise
  2. Run the downloaded file
  3. Click Continue
    This will install the the Visual Studio Installer.

Install with Config File:

  1. Download the vsconfig file.
  2. Cancel the current installation window (Close with the X on the top right)
  3. Select the Available tab
  4. Select Visual Studio Enterprise 2022 and click on More
  5. Select Import configuration
  6. Click on the ... to browse to the downloaded file
  7. Click on Review Details
  8. Click on OK for any errors received.
  9. Click on Remove out-of-support components
  10. Choose an option for download and installation. Install while downloading is recommended.
  11. Click on Install

Install Fresh:

  1. In the Workloads list, the following is the standard list of items:
    1. Python Development
    2. Desktop Development with C++
    3. .NET Desktop Development
    4. Data Storage and Processing
    5. Data Science and Analytical Applications
  2. In the Individual Components list, the following is additional standard items:
    1. AI Assistance - GitHub Copilot (Unselected)
    2. Code Tools - Git for Windows (Selected)
  3. Click on Remove out-of-support components (Note: there should be nothing to remove if correctly selected)
  4. Choose an option for download and installation. Install while downloading is recommended.
  5. Click on Install
