New page

== Overview ==
The images below highlight the locations of the 3 main components of the AV system:

# The pull down projector screen
# Wall mounted AV cabinet
# Equipment inside AV cabinet

== Equipment Usage ==

=== Projector Remote ===

# To turn on the projector, point the remote control (shown below) to the projector and press the power on button. The ID 4 button will light up if input from the power buttons are registered. The projector will take several minutes to load and turn on.
# To turn off the projector, point the remote control to the projector and press the power off button once, and then a second time when prompted by the projector to do so.

=== Microphones ===
There are 2 microphones in the AV cabinet for this room.

# Flip the power switch on MIC 1 (shown below) upwards to turn it on. The display screen will light up and display battery percentage.
# Flip the power switch downwards to turn MIC 1 off.

[[File:ETB 524 mic 1.png|center|thumb|560x560px|MIC 1]]

# The power button is the red button on the bottom of MIC 2 (shown below). Press and hold the power button to turn the microphone on. The display screen will display battery percentage once successfully powered.

=== Extension Cord ===
There is an power supply in the AV cabinet with an outlet to plug an extension cord into. Ensure that the extension cord is powered on.

# Please do not turn off the power supply.

(extension cord img need markup?)

=== Connecting to Projector ===
As there is no computer in this room, an external device will be required to project from.

# Connect the HDMI cable to the device. This will allow screen projection and link the device’s audio to the room’s speakers.
# If using the built-in webcam, connect the webcam cable to the device.

== Troubleshooting ==

=== No sound ===

# If there is no sound after connecting the HDMI cable, connect the AUX cable to the device as well. Refer to the image above for connections.
# On the device, check the sound settings. (still need photos of this?)

(closeup photos of the sections and knobs if we remove the DO NOT TURN ANY DIALS sticker, and add "turn volume knob as required" on the list above)
